The atomic unit

What is a FieldObject?

A FieldObject is a governed, versioned field that carries more than a place to store an answer. It carries the contract for how that answer is obtained, checked, routed and used.

Group 1

Identity & Interface

field_id, version and interface definition establish what the object is and how it is addressed.

Group 2

Intelligence & Logic

Capability flags define which governed AI behaviors the field may use.

Group 3

Validation & Constraint

Technical and semantic rules define what must be true before a value is accepted.

Group 4

Graph & Routing

requires_fields and calls_fields let the field participate directly in workflow sequencing.

Group 5

Artifact Placement

The field carries the destination, priority and output format for its contribution.

Group 6

Provenance

Version, source, approval and integrity information preserve the identity of the contract being executed.

Why it matters

The field becomes portable governance.

A compatible runtime does not need to reinterpret the intent from prose. It retrieves the approved object, honors its contract and records the version it executed.
